This crimp wire foundation is made from 100% beeswax, making it a more natural alternative for your bees. Unlike “regular” crimp wire foundation that has 5.4mm cells, this foundation has 4.9mm cells. This smaller cell size allows for over 20% more cells per frame and is believed to help provide resistance to tracheal and Varroa mites.
